Technical Designer – Men’s & Women’s Apparel
Fast-paced apparel company seeking an experienced Technical Designer with strong knowledge of men’s and women’s apparel construction, fit, and patternmaking.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for fittings with Senior Technical Designer
- Review garments against Tech Packs for fit and construction accuracy
- Write clear fit comments for overseas vendors
- Communicate corrections using Illustrator sketches/photos
- Make pattern corrections as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technical Design experience
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and grading
- Experience working with overseas factories
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred.
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
