About the job
We the leader in outerwear for over 45 years, are looking for a skilled Technical Designer to support our development and production across Outerwear and Sportswear.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to Technical Design Manager
- Collaborate with the Design, Sales, and Production team from the product development to Production.
- Track / receive / Organize fit samples and prepare for fitting
- Participate in fitting (proto through production). Upload fit pictures and take all fit comments on Tech pack
- Communicate with China office resolving any questions arising from technical specs to construction
- Prep & Send fit samples to Private Label buyers. Follow up with their tech designers on comments, then communicate to China office.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with on the job experience
- 3 Years Min. experience
- Knowledge of sportswear & outerwear construction/spec
- Understand paper patterns and construction details
- Knowledge of both knit and woven garment
- Self-motivated and self-directed with continuous desire to learn and grow
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Excellent communication, organizational skill, attention to detail and follow-up skills
Salary:
65K-85K based on capabilities/experience
Job Type:
Full Time 5 days a week in the office
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
