The Technical Project Manager is part of the Customer Success team and serves as a key interface between Perfect Corp and clients to deliver and execute SaaS projects. In addition to possessing basic programming skills such as HTML and Javascript, this Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing and tracking multiple projects and working closely with the sales, engineering, development and product teams to provide technical expertise and support. The successful candidate needs the ability to manage a project through its entire life cycle. This includes presenting software products to clients and defining the scope and feature set for projects. A successful candidate also needs to be able to communicate with developers and technical personnel from both internal and external teams to propose possible solutions using Perfect technologies to meet customer requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as primary technical contact for the brand/retail customer
- Work with the sales team to demo and present our products to customers
- Support the sales team to answer technical questions from customers
- Help propose technical solutions to meet customer requests and desired experiences
- Communicate and explain customer technical requirements to the internal technical and product development team
- Manage project requirements and schedules. Work with internal teams to get approval for project plans
- Work closely with the customer to ensure deliverables meet all requirements and pass certification processes
- Triage software issues and work closely with the development team and customer to debug any issues
- Host weekly project calls with the customer and internal teams to update all parties on project status.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Possess basic understanding and knowledge of scripting/programming
- Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is required
- Familiarity with Java, Python, Swift, Jquery, React is a plus
- Experience with and knowledge of API’s (Application Program Interface) is a plus
- Experience testing software solutions is a plus
- Solid trouble-shooting and communication skills
Project Management & Customer Experience Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and project management tools (Jira) is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and extremely resourceful
- Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to present, demonstrate and promote our software products to customers confidently and with enthusiasm, while addressing questions about features, functions, benefits and competitive products
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables and track / manage action items
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Experience working under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field or technical certification
- 3+ years working experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Experience working with large enterprise clients
- Experience working with enterprise software deployment project is a plus
- Experience working with offshore development teams (Preferred)
- Beauty industry experience (Preferred, but not required)
