We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Temporary Sample Coordinator to come join our New York-based headquarters. Our HQ Office is located in Downtown Manhattan, and this role will be on-site 4-5 days per week.
Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Global Merchandising, the Temp Sample Coordinator will be responsible for helping the Merchandising Team unpack, catalog, and organize samples for the upcoming season.
Primary Responsibilities
Unpack sample boxes from factory
Check contents of each box against inventory list and note any discrepancies
Hang up and steam one of each sample
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
Preference is for a college student actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a fashion related field or a recent graduate in same
Demonstrates alignment with TJ core values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful, GSD, & Curious
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to learn quickly, work independently & collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
Ability to work a maximum of 29 hours per week, on-site in our HQ Office in Downtown Manhattan 4-5 days per week
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
