Job Description
Edit By Nine is looking for a confident, energetic, and outgoing Temporary Trade Show Sales Associate & Fashion Model to join our team for the upcoming District Moda apparel trade show in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
This position involves modeling our Women’s Contemporary Sample Collection while also welcoming customers, assisting buyers, and supporting sales at our booth.
Important: To present the garments as designed, candidates must comfortably fit a standard Women’s Sample Size Small (S).
Work Schedule
- Saturday, October 10: Approximately 10:00 AM–3:00 PM for booth setup and preparation
- Sunday, October 11–Monday, October 12: Work according to the official trade show schedule
- Tuesday, October 13: Work according to the official trade show schedule, plus approximately two additional hours after closing for booth breakdown and packing
Exact call and end times will be confirmed before the event.
Responsibilities
- Live Product Presentation: Wear and model our Size S sample collection throughout the show.
- Brand Representation: Welcome buyers to the booth and introduce the Edit By Nine brand and collection.
- Sales Support: Proactively engage with customers, assist buyers, and support the sales team.
- Booth Presentation: Help keep the booth organized, attractive, and customer-ready.
- Setup and Breakdown: Assist with steaming garments, organizing samples, booth setup, packing, and breakdown.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Must comfortably fit a standard Women’s Sample Size Small (S).
- Confident and professional while modeling clothing in front of buyers.
- Friendly, energetic, and comfortable approaching customers.
- Strong communication and proactive sales skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available for the complete schedule from October 10–13.
- Previous retail, fashion, sales, modeling, or trade show experience is highly preferred.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with light booth setup and packing.
