Job Summary: Sassy Beauty 23 is seeking a talented Textured Hair Specialist to join our luxury specialty salon. This role is dedicated to working with natural hair, providing expert care, styling, and treatments tailored to clients with curly, coily, and kinky textures. The ideal candidate is passionate about textured hair, highly skilled in natural styling techniques, and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences in a high-end, faith-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Natural Hair Care & Styling: Perform silk presses, twist-outs, braid-outs, rod sets, and protective styles such as sew ins, two-strand twists and flat twists. Scalp & Hair Health Treatments: Provide deep conditioning treatments, and scalp detox services to promote healthy hair growth. Client Consultations: Educate clients on proper at-home care, product recommendations, and styling techniques tailored to their hair texture and lifestyle. Cutting & Shaping: Trim and shape natural curls to enhance the hair’s natural pattern and movement. Coloring: Perform color services while maintaining the health and integrity of textured hair. Product Knowledge & Retail Sales: Recommend and sell salon-approved products that cater to textured hair needs. Sanitation & Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all state board regulations and salon protocols. Skills & Qualifications: State Cosmetology License (Required) Minimum 2+ years of experience working with textured and natural hair Expertise in silk presses, protective styling, and healthy hair care practices Strong consultation and communication skills to educate and guide clients Ability to work in a collaborative, luxury salon environment Passion for ongoing education and staying updated on industry trends A commitment to inclusivity, professionalism, and Sassy Beauty 23’s faith-centered values Why Join Us?
