JOB SUMMARY:

A seasonal position with the responsibility of creating looks and styles for different projects throughout the season from theatrical shows, fantasy characters, and holiday themes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Involved in daily Wardrobe Department operation. The Wardrobe operation provides distribution, cleaning, and repair of all characters and shows-related costumes. The department includes the operation of the laundry, costume shop, and sewing room.

Pattern garments and oversee construction/repair to character and show related costumes.

Inventory management and organization of characters and show costumes.

Collaborate with other Entertainment supervisors on new projects and goals.

Evaluate employee performance and correct any behavior.

Sanitize and maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of workstations and areas.

Other duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid Georgia Driver’s License.

Knowledge of sewing machinery including sewing and cutting equipment, and laundry equipment

Sewing-related problem-solving skills

At least 3 years experience in garment production work construction

Must be able to modify show costume designs required, however ability to draw original costume designs is preferred

Outstanding leadership, team building, and motivational skills. High standards and expectations.

Good instincts, analytical skills, and a hands-on management style.

A positive, action-oriented focus in the areas of Guest service, employee relations, and safety. A willingness to support park-wide initiatives.

Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.

React well in stressful and emergency situations.

Strong visualization and organizational skills.

Time-management skills to effectively handle multiple projects at once.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.

Maintain energy and enthusiasm while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.

Computer proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Products.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to perform various physical activities, such as lifting and carrying items

Continued standing and bending.

Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, arm stamina, and color definition.

Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
