Team Overview
We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and partners. The TikTok Shop Fashion Category Team is looking for a retail champion to help us build our business and drive the growth of our category.

Role Overview
The Mass Category Manager will be responsible for growing category GMV through scaled management of the vertical’s smaller accounts. The accounts in this segment warrant a vertical specific approach to drive overall ability to self manage their business, but will not receive the hands on account management that core accounts receive. Accordingly, as a Mass Category Manager, your approach to management varies greatly from other Category Managers.

Responsibilities
• Generate weekly and monthly communication plans (email, webinairs, seller center announcements, seller academy, etc.) that assist sellers in managing and growing their business
• Build and maintain seller communities in our internal communications portal
• Create and distribute applicable TikTok Shop content: campaign flyers, policy updates, product developments, best practices, training applicable to seller, etc.
• Plan and manage incentives that drive seller actions on key inputs (uploading new season SKUs, updating PDP with size charts, etc.)
• Enhance overall seller experience with better self-service tools and reporting resources through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Identify good performers and create low-touch interactions that assist with planning and growing their business (i.e. bi-annual meetings, tips share based on previous weeks’ results)
• Improve seller experience including violations and AOC support in a scalable solution while supporting product and process improvements that reduces violations and AOCs

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
• Experience in e-commerce; experience building and scaling processes
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Team player, fast learner, and open to changes
• Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, logical and strong in problem solving
• Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the Fashion category
• Mixed platform-side and brand/merchant-side experience
• Experience in social commerce or content-based e-commerce
• Strong connections with brands and distributors
