As a Fashion Woman Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing garments aligned with Desigual’s creative vision, brand DNA and business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Buying and Production to ensure collections are innovative, commercially relevant and aligned with seasonal concepts and trends.

Requirements

  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Previous experience of minimum 5 years in fashion design
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials and garment construction techniques
  • Ability to interpret trends and translate them into commercial and brand-aligned designs
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • High level of creativity combined with strong product sensibility and commercial awareness
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proactive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
  • Fluent Spanish & English

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop garments aligned with seasonal concepts, brand identity and market needs
  • Create mood boards, colour palettes, prints, graphics and technical sketches for collections
  • Research trends, fabrics, materials and new techniques to ensure innovative and competitive product proposals
  • Work closely with Product Development and Buying teams to ensure designs are aligned with price positioning and business strategy
  • Follow up garment development from concept to final sample, ensuring quality and design integrity
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure feasibility and correct execution of designs
  • Prepare technical documentation and support fittings when required
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities and product improvements
  • Ensure collections respect timing, calendar milestones and internal processes
