We are hiring a dependable, hands-on associate to support our business in two main areas:
- Trade Shows (selling + setup)
- Warehouse operations (receiving, lifting, containers, order prep)
If you have trade show, wholesale showroom, warehouse, or fashion industry experience, this role is for you.
About Fame Accessories
Fame Accessories is a leading wholesale fashion accessories company based in Los Angeles. We sell to major retailers and boutiques nationwide through our showroom, marketplaces, and trade shows.
Role Summary (50/50 Split)
This position is approximately:
- 50% Trade Show preparation + travel + selling
- 50% Warehouse support + receiving + fulfillment
You must be comfortable with manual labor, long hours during shows, and working on your feet.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrade Shows (Primary Focus During Show Season)
- Assist with trade show preparation (samples, booth materials, displays, signage, logistics)
- Support booth setup + breakdown (lifting required)
- Support wholesale selling at trade shows:
- Greet buyers and assist customers
- Present product and merchandising
- Capture orders and leads
- Travel and work alongside our Show Manager or Sales Manager
- Represent Fame Accessories professionally at all events
Warehouse Operations (Non-show periods / weekly workflow)
- Receive cartons and inventory shipments
- Assist with receiving/unloading containers (manual labor required)
- Pick/pull wholesale orders accurately
- Assist with packing/fulfillment and prepping orders for shipping
- Use our ERP system (EDI Business Systems) for inventory/order workflow
- Help keep warehouse organized, clean, and show-ready
Travel Requirements
- Must be able to travel for trade shows as needed
- Trade show travel includes early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overtime
- Per diem provided while traveling
- Occasional customer visits may be included (driving or flying depending on location)
Qualifications (Required)
- Valid driver’s license + comfortable driving for work when needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office and/or Google tools)
- Comfortable lifting, standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, professional communication, reliability
Preferred Experience (Strongly Preferred)
✅ Trade show experience (MAGIC / ASD / wholesale events)
✅ Fashion wholesale / showroom / accessories industry experience
✅ Warehouse receiving / shipping experience
✅ Merchandise / retail display / setup experience
Pay + Benefits
- $21.00–$24.00/hour
- Overtime available (paid when applicable)
- Per diem provided during travel
