Job DescriptionAbout the teamThis role will support the Women’s Senior Tailoring Designer on multi-product, outerwear and occasion wear, while also assisting the wider design team across the brand where needed. The team design and develop new ranges, taking responsibility for everything from trend prediction to design concept through to technical development and product selection.

About The Role

Working alongside the sales, buying, tech and design partners, you will provide support throughout the whole design process from planning new ranges, managing samples, through to product selection, while liaising with supply partners across the globe.

Collate design trend research/ mood-boards, CAD-up sketches, source colour palettes, prepare and update design boards and collection lineplans for each season as required.

Assist with the production of design packs where required and send out to our teams overseas, following through 3D and pattern/fitting comments to final perfected sample..

Provide administrative and organisational support to the Design Department, taking responsibility for tasks such as day to day department requests, colour matching, archiving fabrics and logging samples.

About You

Experience or specialisation in Womenswear Design, fabric, sample construction/patternmaking, is desirable

Strong presentation and communication skills, you will be capable of working well with other team members and building productive relationships

Highly organised, self-motivated, dynamic; you will be able to proactively manage a wide range of responsibilities throughout the design development process

Agility with the ability to multitask is also important

Strong interest in fashion and awareness of trends, with a feminine aesthetic and attention to detail

Specific Skills/qualifications & Requirements

Possesses a degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design or similar discipline.

Strong CAD skills- confident use of Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign
