Position Overview:
As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our stylists are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with salon managers and staff to identify training needs, develop comprehensive training programs, and facilitate engaging and informative training sessions.
Responsibilities:
Assess training needs across 11 salon locations and develop training plans accordingly.
Design, develop, and implement training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
Conduct training sessions on various topics, including haircutting techniques, customer service standards, and product knowledge.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to salon staff to reinforce training concepts and drive continuous improvement.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance training content and delivery methods.
Collaborate with salon managers to identify high-potential talent and develop career progression plans.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a hairstylist or salon manager preferred.
Proven track record in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the beauty industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to travel between salon locations as needed.
