Position: Travel Retail Area Manager – Americas Job Summary: The Travel Retail Sales Manager for the Americas is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the travel retail sector across North and South America. This role involves managing business relationships with our Duty-free distributor for the Americas. Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Devise and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration in the travel retail sector. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our TRAVEL RETAIL Regional Distributor located in Miami. Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets or product categories within the travel retail sector. Develop strategies to increase brand visibility and market share in your final DF retailers ( through our TR distributor) Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data (consolidation of sell in and sell out report), and generate reports to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales goals. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a cohesive approach to sales activities. Training: Supporting our TR distributor by doing training along with the sales team in all the core markets ( US, Mexico, Caribbean area and South America) Trade shows: Attending trade shows in Americas (Asutil) and Cannes (TFWA) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in international business, business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in sales within the travel retail industry, preferably in the Americas region. Strong understanding of travel retail market dynamics, including duty-free, airports, cruise lines, and border shops. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Sales analytics and CRM software. Additional Notes: This position may involve frequent travel within the Americas region. The Travel Retail Sales Manager will report to the Travel retail director and the Director of Sales. #J-18808-Ljbffr
