Role Mission
The Training Manager will be responsible for effectively delivering and executing all training projects all the stores in the HUB (Turkey and Greece). This role will coach and facilitate in-store, one-to-one, and classroom Business Training. This position will be accountable for influencing business results through effective delivery of training, onboarding, and coaching. The Training Manager will report directly to the hub General Manager.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
The Training Manager will manage the training activities for their specifically assigned scope of work.
The primary training activities will include:
DELIVERY
o Deliver/Facilitate One-to-one, classroom, meeting, in store training
o Create training decks for morning briefings and activities
o Create a positive learning environment/culture,
CONSULTANT
o Be the “Training Expert ” and partner for the Store team
o Provide effective recommendations and solutions to meet Business Training needs
PERFORMANCE
o Monitor the Training KPIs according to the global frame work
o Monitor & Analyse Business KPIs in order to identify learning solutions to impact sales
COACHING
o Strong ability to identify and leverage coaching moments to change behaviors and improve performance
o Coach and train client advisors through on-the-floor observation, providing feedback, and exemplifying the luxury service experience
SELLING EXPERTISE (experience in a selling environment)
o Confident and experienced at selling
o Strong ability to “read” clients and uncover needs
o Ability to transfer selling skills and techniques
o Experienced in product storytelling
CURIOSITY & DESIRE TO LEARN & GROW
o Strong desire to learn and to self-develop
o Quick to absorb and apply new information
o Stays informed on learning and training trends
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
o Product expert
o Passion for brands and storytelling
o Aware of fashion industry trends
STAKEHOLDERS MANAGEMENT
o Manage the relationships between the business owners and the Training team
o Work with the business owners to assess training needs and to define training priorities
COMMUNICATIONS
o Develop and execute communication strategies tied to the Business Training projects
o Facilitate monthly district training calls, contributing to content development
o Ensure training content and delivery is meeting communicated expectations
Requirements
Functional
· Min. 5 yrs in the Retail Industry (ideally including Retail shop floor background)
· Previous experience in training departments and/or in roles where training and developing others was part of the job mission. Luxury retail experience is preferred
· Influencing skills
· Strong Retail Business Orientation
· Experience in Digital Learning
· Good analytics approach
· Agility in the approach and in reviewing priorities, in line with the business needs
· International experience and strong cultural sensitivity, balancing a global approach with local needs
· Fluency in English and Turkish
· Must be willing to travel
