About the Role
Rajnandini Fashion India Ltd. is looking for an experienced Vendor Development & Sourcing Manager to expand our network of fabric suppliers and ready-made garment manufacturers. The ideal candidate should have strong industry connections and hands-on experience in identifying, onboarding, and managing vendors to help us scale our product range and sourcing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard new fabric suppliers and ready-made garment manufacturers.
Develop a strong vendor base for women's ethnic wear, fabrics, and value-added products.
Source new collections, designs, and fashion trends.
Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Evaluate vendor quality, production capacity, and reliability.
Build long-term relationships with vendors and ensure consistent performance.
Conduct factory visits and vendor audits.
Coordinate with merchandising, production, and quality teams.
Resolve vendor-related quality and delivery issues.
Maintain vendor databases and performance scorecards.
Continuously increase product selection by adding new vendors and new product categories.
Candidate Requirements
Must currently be residing in Surat.
5–10+ years of experience in vendor development, sourcing, or merchandising in the apparel/textile industry.
Strong network of fabric suppliers and garment manufacturers.
Experience in women's ethnic wear is preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Willing to travel for vendor visits when required.
Success Metrics
Number of new vendors onboarded.
Increase in product selection and new collections.
Cost optimization through effective sourcing.
Vendor quality and on-time delivery performance.
Timely availability of new products for the business.
