Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the President and other senior management team to develop the company's long-term jewelry design strategy.
Lead and execute jewelry design projects, from concept creation to final product, ensuring designs align with market demands and brand positioning.
Maintain innovativeness and forward-thinking in design direction through market research, trend analysis, and consumer insights.
Team Management: Lead the design team, ensuring smooth project execution and optimizing team structure and workflows.
Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-caliber design talent, ensuring continuous improvement in the team's creativity and productivity.
Provide guidance and feedback to foster the personal and professional growth of team members.
Design Innovation and Trend Leadership: Responsible for the design direction and style of all the company's jewelry collections, including innovation in luxury, high-end, and everyday collections.
Regularly organize creative meetings, design discussions, and concept development to ensure designs meet the latest market trends and consumer needs.
Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to drive cross-departmental collaboration and ensure designed products have market appeal and commercial potential.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the company's brand philosophy, values, and positioning.
Participate in company brand building activities to promote the updating and enhancement of the brand image.
Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the design department's annual budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and project cost control.
Coordinate the needs of the design and production teams to ensure designs are completed within the stipulated time and budget.
Supply Chain and Production Support: Work closely with the production department and supply chain teams to ensure the smooth implementation of design concepts and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
During the design process, consider factors such as jewelry manufacturing techniques, material selection, and cost control.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or above in Art Design, Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related fields.
At least 20 years of experience in the jewelry design field, including at least 5 years of experience in a senior management position.
Extensive experience in international market design is preferred.
Professional Skills: Proficient in jewelry design theory, craftsmanship, history, and trends; possesses strong creative thinking and design capabilities.
Familiar with jewelry design software (such as CAD, 3D modeling, etc.) and related production techniques.
Ability to independently drive and execute large-scale design projects.
Leadership and Communication Skills: Possesses exceptional team leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding the team to achieve innovative goals.
Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, able to bridge gaps between design, production, and marketing stages.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, capable of making effective decisions under pressure.
