DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for the category, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with various teams, including design, sourcing, production, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of the product development process and the timely delivery of products to market.
Vendor Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in the production of intimate apparel products.
Market Research:Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Customer Insights:Leverage customer feedback, data, and insights to inform product development and drive continuous improvement.
Brand Development:Collaborate with design and sales teams to develop and promote a strong brand identity for the intimate product line, ensuring consistency in messaging and positioning across all channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in product buying and development, with a strong focus on design, merchandising, and sourcing.
Proven track record of successfully leading product development teams and managing large-scale projects.
Strong understanding of the retail market including customer preferences, trends, and competitor landscape
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with ease.
