MAIN PURPOSEBeing part of our Marketing and Communication Department, you are responsible for the good execution of Visual merchandising operations in our networks of Cartier Latin America market, concentrating on Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
Implement our local VM strategy (adaption of international strategy) for Mexico (boutiques as well as Watch and Fragrance partners). You are responsible for the qualitative display; the seasonal animation set-up and you lead the PLV updated setting.
Monitor VM performance and work closely with commercial and product marketing teams on product assortment. You nurture, train and guide the VM community– both in boutiques as well as at Watch and Fragrance partners.
Devise creative VM projects adapt global guidelines to the local specifities, proposing and developing Pop-ups, Pop-ins, façade and window animations as well as VM concepts for events.
Follow-up on latest market trends and making analysis of our network and market trends. You visit competition locations and share best practices.
Be ready to travel – up to 60% of your time.
MAIN TASKS
Budgeting & Purchasing
Follow budgets for annual expenditure on image and Point of Sale Materials (display, visuals, stands, trays, etc).
Controls stock levels for all in store presentation material.
Implementing and Training
Change display to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes. According to HQ/Local strategy.
Elaborate comprehensive material to guide and conducts trainings for implementation of the different display animations among the year.
Report properly to HQ the implementation of each animation.
Auditing and Animating
Visit each POS 3 times per year and assure counters and showcases are set up properly at all times, ensuring uniformity of display across multiple POS locations.
Audits store image in POS to ensure implementation of guidelines, test knowledge of guidelines, and conduct training aimed for sales staff on guidelines.
Scouts markets for Image improvement opportunities (external visuals, local merchandising competencies).
Design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy aligned with local Marketing and Commercial objectives.
Coordinate and implement POS animations focus on client treatment
Miscellaneous
Manages in-house Image needs for special events (Seminars, Charity sales, Launch parties).
Collaborates with communication for the set-up of special launch events.
Research and communicate to the department head about related elements of the market and competition.
JOB PROFILE
Education: Bachelor degree in design, fashion, marketing or similar
Required experience: at least 5 years as visual merchandiser in retail for luxury brands and 2 years managing a team
Technical skills / abilities: Proficiency in MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools. Fluent in English and Spanish required.
Personal skills: Creative and innovative thinker, flexible working hours, willingness to travel, strong communication and high organizational skills
