Position: Visual Merchandising Officer – Outlet
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Type: Full-time
Role Purpose
Responsible for creating and implementing visually appealing product displays, showroom layouts, window arrangements, promotional displays, and product presentation within the outlet/store. The role focuses on enhancing the customer shopping experience, ensuring consistent visual standards, and using AutoCAD and SketchUp to design and visualize store layouts, product displays, and merchandising installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative visual merchandising concepts that enhance product presentation across the outlet/store
- Design and implement visually compelling product displays, window arrangements, showroom layouts, and promotional installations
- Ensure all displays reflect ABYAT’s brand identity, seasonal themes, and commercial objectives
- Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, mock-ups, and proposed display layouts
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate display effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards and guidelines across the outlet/store
- Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising standards, product presentation, and display maintenance
- Collaborate with Marketing, Store Operations, Product/Category teams, and other internal departments to align visual merchandising activities with business needs
- Monitor display materials, props, and visual merchandising supplies, and coordinate requirements with the relevant teams
- Stay updated on retail trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and visual merchandising best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually appealing store environment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably within retail, showroom, furniture, home furnishing, or lifestyle products
- Strong experience in creating product displays, store layouts, window displays, and promotional setups
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required
- Strong creativity, design sense, and attention to detail
- Good understanding of customer journey, product visibility, and retail shopping experience
- Ability to translate concepts into practical in-store execution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support store staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
