Position
As the Visual Merchandising Project Manager Europe, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring visual merchandising projects across European markets, in coordination with local teams and the Paris headquarters. You will oversee all visual installations in Dior retail locations (owned boutiques, department store concessions, pop-ups) while managing a team of 10 collaborators across Europe. You will report directly to the EMEA Visual Merchandising Director.
Job responsibilities
Project Management & Operations
Lead seasonal visual merchandising campaigns (window displays, in-store installations, pop-up animations).
Coordinate overnight installations, special events, and store openings.
Manage suppliers, contractors, and logistics partners at the European level.
Ensure timelines, budgets, and Dior’s quality standards are respected.
Guarantee the sustainability and potential reuse of installations, in line with the Maison’s CSR strategy.
Provide creative and budget-conscious solutions tailored to regional needs.
Collaborate with the Europe Finance team to ensure alignment with validated budget objectives.
Team Management
Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of 10 creative project developers and project managers across Europe.
Set individual and team objectives, organize field visits, and ensure continuous skill development.
Foster team cohesion around Dior’s values and aesthetic, ensuring consistency, motivation, and performance.
Report on team activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the headquarters.
Coordination & Communication
Act as the main point of contact between Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, and Design teams at HQ.
Attend strategic meetings and collection presentations to anticipate VM needs.
Maintain fluid communication with the VM Europe management.
Update and distribute the annual VM calendar across the network.
Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience in visual merchandising, with a strong background in 360° VM project management, including at least 3 years in team management within the luxury or fashion industry.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership, ability to unite and inspire a multicultural team within an international environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with precision and creativity.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools.
Fluent in English; French and other European languages are a plus.
Deep affinity with the Dior universe and a passion for product and boutique aesthetics.
