Full Job Description
Westmoor Mfg. Co—the maker of Panhandle Western Wear and Rock & Roll Denim, based in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas—is seeking a Visual Merchandising Representative to service our retail partners in the Denver, Colorado region.
This position requires the ability to work alone and in a team environment. Compensation depends on experience and includes 401K, vacation, health insurance, employee discount, and other benefits. This position requires extensive travel (4 nights, 5 days a week) within the assigned area. All travel expenses are covered by the company plus a generous apparel allowance will be provided. Applicants MUST currently reside in either Denver, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins, Colorado.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Westmoor’s brands within our key retail partners’ stores, and providing merchandising assistance and maintenance of POS materials.
Build relationships with store managers and employees to increase Westmoor’s brand presence within retail outlets.
Complete True Context store report, complete with GPS stamp, timestamp, and photos, for each location visited.
Make recommendations (via reports) on increasing Westmoor’s brand presence and real estate (whether by signage, fixtures, etc.) within each store.
Provide feedback to managers regarding competitor activity, potential opportunities, or account-specific needs.
Provides support to the sales team at quarterly wholesale markets and participate in Westmoor’s tradeshows and events throughout the US as needed.
Assist in the setup and tear down of event booths to include merchandising the clothing.
Assist in delivery, assembly & merchandising of fixtures at retail stores or events.
Sort, restock, and ship promotional material and signage to retail partners.
Requirements:
Retail apparel experience preferred.
Fashion Merchandising degree a plus.
Positive mature attitude, customer-oriented, with good multitasking and superb organizational abilities.
Ability to lift 10 – 50 lbs. regularly.
Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
A criminal background check will be administered and will include drug screening, credit history, and MVR.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,211.00 – $50,000.00 per year
