Job OverviewManage all aspects of the care and cleaning of guest, staff and management laundry. Work with the dry-cleaning vendor to ensure that all items are taken care of according to brand standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotation of stock.
To accept all deliveries and store them correctly, alerting the management team of any problems / missing items and contacting suppliers if necessary.
Dry and Press all linen, uniform and other items according to procedures
Fold all laundered items according to Sexy Fish standards
Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment
Report equipment defects and Sub-standard linen to the manager
Handle and issue staff laundry and uniforms according to procedures
Mend and sew when necessary
Physical Abilities
Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift
Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
