The RoleAssist in the Coordination of the Costume department, in the successful planning, pre-production and on-board delivery of the production product with P&O Cruises and Cunard. The Wardrobe Assistant will act as a knowledgeable partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all costume is delivered to the standard set by the Production Show Manager.

The role will also ensure P&O Cruises and Cunard Production Shows are in line with all safety policies and procedures alongside exceeding Guest’s expectations on-board our ships.

Maintaining costume and shoe stock

Assist with costume fittings and alterations

Arranging collections and deliveries to and from Academy

General Administration

Maintenance to costume both in Academy and on board our ships

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK12 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with flexible hybrid working to be discussed with line manager.

Other Features of Job (travel, hours of work, working conditions etc)

Main place of work will be The Academy, Southampton.

Travel away from the Academy required

Based on 7 hours per day, 5 days per week

Flexible working supported, within the practicalities required by the job

Administration skills and confident in Excel, Word and Outlook

Previous stock management/ stock room and inventory upkeep

Confident in accurately placing orders for what is needed and planning ahead

Reliable, adaptable and a strong team worker
