Warehouse Lead Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for delegating tasks, assisting in training, and communicating the warehouse goals to the team. The Warehouse Lead will oversee/assist the team in performing material handling tasks within the warehouse to support E-Commerce and B2B schedules. The Lead will stage, load, and unload inbound and outbound product. This role is also responsible for stocking and maintaining the warehouse inventory. Continuously supports Beckmann’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Supports production output and ensures adherence to Beckmann’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

· Maintain accurate records of all the inventory and stock in the defined warehouse.

· Authenticate the goods in the received shipments and maintain record of all discrepancies.

· Ensure order pickers are working to pre-defined levels of production.

· Ensure accurate shipping label creation and tendering of goods to selected freight provider.

· Coordinate work assignments based on picking sequence to maximize efficiency of order pickers.

· Meet or exceed daily production goals of cartons shipped.

· Operating company ERP software, system and procedures.

· Assist Warehouse supervisor in meeting daily, weekly and monthly goals

· Provides back-up and support to other areas as requested.

OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

· Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.

· Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.

· Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

Education/Experience:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Prior experience preferred. Possess basic computer skills.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Communication skills essential.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
