Position Overview: Responsible for precise calculation, assessment, and tracking of capacity targets and staffing levels, ensuring efficient alignment between business demands and workforce supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop daily, promotional, and post-promotional capacity targets based on S&OP order volumes.
- Calculate warehouse staffing requirements and recruitment plans to meet capacity objectives; update and output the next 2-week headcount and recruitment needs each week based on order forecasts.
- Participate in designing and implementing capacity construction SOPs and related tools, clarifying the logic and processes for setting, allocating, and adjusting capacity targets.
- Conduct weekly capacity evaluations, produce assessment reports, and track implementation of solutions to address capacity gaps.
- Monitor core capacity-related metrics (e.g., HC ratio, recruitment fulfillment rate, order fulfillment rate), promptly identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
- Organize training on capacity management tools for warehouse teams, gather frontline feedback, and optimize models/processes accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Information Management, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in warehouse planning or capacity building; experience in large-scale e-commerce, 3PL, or manufacturing warehouse operations preferred. Strong understanding of core principles in capacity management and staffing calculations; able to quickly master SOPs and tool deployment requirements.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (working language); knowledge of Polish preferred. Good Chinese communication skills are a plus.
- Tools/Systems: Skilled in using WMS and office software (Excel/PowerPoint); experience with SQL or Python for data analysis is a plus.
- Methodology & Certification: Familiarity with S&OP, capacity and balanced production management, batch and path optimization; relevant certifications (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma) are advantageous.
- Data & Logic: Strong data sensitivity and structured problem-solving skills, able to optimally allocate resources and make rapid decisions in multi-constraint scenarios.
