We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in hair design and styling, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create beautiful looks for our clients while fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients.
Perform makeup application as needed, enhancing clients’ overall appearance.
Sanitate tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients’ hair color requests.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Demonstrate proficiency in using straight razors for precision cuts.
Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that align with clients’ hair care needs.
Familiarize yourself with MINDBODY software for appointment management and client tracking.
Mentor junior stylists or interns, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance their skills.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong understanding of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales performance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual performance standards.
A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and techniques.

Pay: $24.14 – $28.16 per hour
