Our dolls have been available exclusively through our website since 2015, we have some of the most engaged and loyal customers in the baby products category, and now we are expanding our wholesale program.

What we need:
An Account Manager (wholesale) who will be focused on curating a network of stylish, ethically-minded retailers in existing and new markets, establishing new wholesale accounts and manage a portfolio of existing accounts. This position requires a strong relationship building high energy individual, that has both the skills to open new accounts along with delivering delightful service to existing customers. The position is based out of our new office in Etobicoke, with hybrid work from home schedule.
Who you are:
Upbeat, organized and excited to introduce cuddle+kind’ s collection of hand-knit, ethically produced dolls to the world of retail. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and eager to make your mark on a new program within a rapidly growing business expanding into new markets. You should be persistent and comfortable with putting in the effort to open accounts.
What you’ll do:
Develop and grow cuddle+kind’ s wholesale program. Make Introductory and follow up phone calls to retailers. 50% of the communication is phone and video calls and 50% via email and social platforms Attend 7-9 trade shows per year. Mostly in the US with potential in Europe Engage with selected retail accounts and establish relationships Qualify retailers for our wholesale program, focused on expanding into new markets Receive and process orders as required. Work comfortably within our CRM system and self service Shopify website. Interact closely with customer service, operations, and marketing while also working on special projects as required.
You have:
Confidence speaking over the phone and making customer calls each day
A passion for the baby/child/specialty gift industries (a must)
Post-Secondary education, in Business and or Marketing (an asset)
Experience selling to and developing international markets (a strong asset)
Proven track record of growing wholesale programs
Experience in business development and sales to major fashion retailers and specialty stores
Strong interest in retail and brand marketing
A great sense of style
