Job SummaryThe Wholesale Assistant role is an integral part of the Wholesale team and assists with tasks that support the revenue and volume generated from the wholesale business. They will coordinate with the Manager of Wholesale to help with administrative functions, manage the process of vendor samples, collaborate on collection builds, attend client meetings and buyers’ reviews, and process orders, in addition to other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Process and maintain all purchase orders (PO’s) for both online orders and trade show orders

Prepare, attend, and travel when necessary to all market appointments and tradeshows

Create and organize a process for all wholesale sample management

Order, track, ship, and return all samples needed for accounts

Manage photoshoot sample set with the Studio team

Collaborate with production on any internal samples that can be used for the above needs

Create on-order visuals for major accounts utilizing Nuorder

Support the wholesale team with administrative tasks such as:

Communicating orders to Logistics that need UPCs

Manage Nuorder to ensure all product information is up to date, linesheet creation, biweekly updates to marketplace/brand pages, etc.

Track all wholesale orders to ensure on-time delivery to our accounts and communicate any delivery changes if necessary

Establish and maintain relationships with Lulu’s vendors as well as Wholesale Accounts – both major & specialty stores

Assist with wholesale account outreach, including emails, phone calls, etc.

What You’ll Need

1+ years of experience working at an e-commerce or retail company

Excellent communication; written, oral, and group facilitation

Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times

Work well under pressure and able to meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines

Sense of urgency, highly detailed, and experience in meeting deadlines

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally

Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems

Organized and efficient administrative skills required

Must be able to work independently

Ability to travel to tradeshows and market appointments (25%)

Solid understanding of the Lulus brand

Ability and willingness to learn the wholesale business

BA/BFA in Fashion

Experience working in account management or wholesale
