Overview

We are partnering with a growing fashion brand to appoint a commercially driven Wholesale Manager based in New York.

This role will take ownership of the wholesale business across the US market, driving revenue growth, strengthening key accounts and expanding the brand’s presence within leading retailers. The successful candidate will bring a strong network, a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to managing and developing wholesale partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the US wholesale strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with key retailers and strategic partners
  • Support the overall commercial strategy in line with brand positioning and growth plans

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong sell-through and long-term partnerships
  • Lead seasonal sell-in appointments, presentations and negotiations

Sales & Performance

  • Own seasonal sales targets and budgets across the wholesale channel
  • Monitor and analyse sell-through performance, identifying opportunities to optimise sales
  • Work closely with partners to ensure strong in-season trading and reorders

Showroom & Market Management

  • Lead showroom appointments during market, presenting collections to buyers
  • Ensure product is positioned effectively and aligned with brand identity
  • Support showroom set-up and overall presentation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Merchandising, Design and Production teams to align on range, pricing and delivery
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and future collections
  • Partner with Marketing to support wholesale activations and brand visibility

Operational Oversight

  • Manage order intake, forecasting and delivery timelines in collaboration with operations
  • Ensure accurate order management and strong communication with partners
  • Support credit control and payment follow-up where required

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a Wholesale Manager or Senior Account Manager role within fashion or lifestyle
  • Strong network across US retailers and department stores
  • Commercially driven with a strong understanding of sell-in, sell-through and margin management
  • Experience managing showroom appointments and market weeks
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and hands-on
  • Passion for fashion and strong understanding of the US market
