WHOLESALE Sales & Marketing Coordinator role in a fun, fashionable fast paced wholesale Women’s Apparel Showroom located in Portland Metro Area.
We are a wholesale (not to the public) Sales operation working directly with women’s clothing boutique retailers/buyers across multiple contemporary Apparel brands from all over the world.
Our role is to introduce & sell new seasonal women’s apparel collections to our retailers each season thru marketing, in store appointments, trade shows, etc.
If you are a people person with an enthusiastic personality and taste for fashion, this would be a great opportunity to learn more in-depth about the wholesale apparel industry. We get to work with amazing women’s clothing brands that haven’t hit the market yet.
MUST HAVE
Sales, Customer Service, and some Social Media/Marketing experience
Great knowledge and currently using Canvas, Google Docs, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on email and phone outreach
Must be VERY comfortable talking with people ~ in person and on the phone
Problem solving skills/know how
Handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Project orientated with a desire to complete tasks accurately
Able to make calls to set up appointments with clients and general customer service tasks.
Able to learn new industry specific computer programs/processes
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively
Must be organized, fast learner, and able to work quickly with accuracy
Social Media knowledge needed to help run IG account
Must have interest in fashion with a fashionable presence
College Education – Fashion Merchandising/Marketing Degree or other preferred
Occasional out of town travel to visit stores and attend trade shows/some weekends
$23 to $25 based on experience and/or salary options, bonuses/commissions
Summary
As a Sales/Customer Service Associate in our Wholesale Apparel Showroom, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer experiences and assisting in sales. Your core skills in wholesale sales, customer service, and effective communication will enable you to assist customers with their needs while managing order taking efficiently. With premium skills in merchandising and social media management/marketing, you will also contribute to showcasing our products creatively. Your ability to work with tools like Canvas, Google Docs and Microsoft Office will support our marketing efforts, making you a vital part of our small team in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in the showroom and addressing inquiries about products.
- Process sales orders accurately using Industry specific platforms
- Manage samples coming in and going out before/after seasonal shows
- Utilize marketing tools, including social media and Google Docs, to promote products effectively.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with existing and new customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to prospect new accounts thru market research and email
- Must be willing to travel out of State
- Must have a working car an drivers license

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
