Lena’s Wigs is seeking a licensed and skilled stylist/colorist for our wig boutique in Hampden. If you’re passionate about hair artistry and want to work with high-end wigs, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Bleach knots and dye hair for custom lace hairlines to create a natural, undetectable look.
Consult with clients in person and online to discuss custom color requests.
Wash and style wigs according to client specifications.
Perform strand tests before applying any color treatments.
Apply expert coloring techniques, including balayage, rooting, lowlights, and full-color transformations.
Maintain the integrity of delicate hair and lace materials.
Ensure consistency and quality across all wigs through precise and expert color application.
Qualifications & Skills:
Hair styling licensure required.
Proven experience in professional hair coloring (some experience with wigs or extensions preferred).
Strong knowledge of hair color chemistry, toning, and processing techniques.
Ability to work with delicate, high-quality lace hair systems.
Keen eye for detail and expertise in creating natural, multidimensional color work.
Experience with color correction and blending techniques.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
