In-Home Sales Consultant — Window Coverings & Shading Solutions (East Valley)
We are a full-service window coverings and shading company specializing in custom shutters, blinds, shades, draperies, and retractable awnings for residential and commercial clients.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a high-performing, consultative sales professional to join our team.
Industry experience is valued—but not required. We hire strong salespeople and train product expertise.

About the Role
This is a consultative in-home sales position focused on solving customer needs while delivering a high-end design experience.
You will meet clients in their homes, assess their needs, present tailored solutions, and confidently close business.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct in-home consultations with qualified, company-provided leads
- Ask effective questions to uncover customer needs
- Recommend tailored window covering solutions
- Guide customers through both functional and design decisions (colors, fabrics, styles)
- Present pricing and close sales confidently in the home
- Manage your pipeline and follow up to secure business
- Deliver a professional, punctual, and high-quality customer experience
What We’re Really Looking For (Read Carefully)
We are not looking for order-takers—we’re looking for sales professionals who can guide and close.
- Confidence recommending solutions—including both functional and design-oriented choices
- An eye for color, texture, and design is a plus and helps create a more complete customer experience
- Ability to combine aesthetics with functionality (light control, privacy, energy efficiency)
Must-Have Traits
- Proven ability to sell consultatively and close business
- Strong communication and ability to build trust quickly
- Confidence recommending solutions (not just presenting options)
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven
- Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
Preferred Experience
- In-home sales (home improvement, flooring, kitchens, roofing, etc.)
- Furniture, mattress, or commissioned retail sales
- Ability to coordinate colors, fabrics, and styles with existing interiors
- Confidence helping customers make design decisions
Window covering experience is a plus—but not required.

- Comfortable with commission-based income
- Tech-savvy (iPad / quoting tools)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Ability to pass background check
Sales Territory – East Valley & Surrounding Areas
Your territory will include, but is not limited to: Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and Sun Lakes.
Compensation
- Commission-based with strong earning potential
- Top performers earn $75,000 –$120,000+ annually
