MISSION STATEMENT
In charge of the Fendi Women’s product offer in Korea, which includes merchandise/selling technic training, coordinating the buying, display, product launches and commercial follow up activities from the Regional office
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Buying/Merchandising
To manage Women’s team while taking high initiative in Women’s Fur/RTW/Shoes
To study and define the product mix according to the specificity of the Korean market
To be involved in the seasonal buying session to ensure the right merchandise is purchased for Korea in the right quantity
To lead and organize pre-selling and MTO events to maximize the business
To propose remerchandising of store during new product launch and season end sale
To be involved in the management of OTB
To initiate with Inventory Control department on re-ordering of merchandise
To review and propose pricing
To guide re-allocation of launched products
To set up & update outlet operation strategy
To predict sales & trend for newly launched items to request rapid stock replenishment
2. Training
To identify training needs and prepare training materials on all products
To guide stores with seasonal product strategy and action plan
To inspire stores with general fashion trend in every season & cross selling tips with styling guide line
3. Commercial Follow-up
To prepare weekly/ monthly reports on product comments
To review sales and sell-thru analyses and propose action plans if necessary
To develop special incentive program related to products
To study, evaluate and make valuable report on customer behaviour, market trend, competitors’ price and product offer
STANDARD LEVEL OF COMPETENCIES
Experience :
Local Korean with at least 10 years’ merchandising experience in fashion luxury retail
industry in a managerial position
Education :
Degree Holder
Skills :
Excellent people management and communication skills
Professional presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
Native Korean and fluent in English, other languages a plus
Computer literacy (including windows, word processing and spreadsheets)
