We are looking for a receiver to join our team at Wendy Foster!
Receivers are an integral part of daily business operations and work directly with store buyers to insure accurate inventory. Receivers should have a great attention to detail, ability to work with strong organization and communication skills. Interests in aesthetics, fashion and styling appreciated!
Receivers work directly with the store buyer to oversee that store purchase orders, invoices and inventory are clearly recorded and accurate.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking to fill a full time postion. Receiver is to work in the store 5 days a week, to ensure follow through, accuracy, and commitment. Preferred hours are 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Purchase order entering: Enter purchase orders as submitted by buyer, create items & matrices based off of purchase order.
Ensure accuracy of:
- vendor information
- cost and retail prices
- category and color coding
Purchase order receiving: Check in and receive shipments as they arrive
- Ensure accurate invoice matches purchase order and all items received
Steam, fold & tag all clothing
Create and follow through on RA’s, shortships, damages and miships
Resolve additional issues as they arrive
Additional Inventory management: Quarterly inventory counts and stocks checks
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands of this position are mostly what one would expect of working in a retail clothing store. Mostly the ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time, some walking, climb stairs, stooping, reaching, bending, squatting. Occasionally required to lift up-to 50 pounds. Finger dexterity required to fold clothing, hang clothing, and tag clothing.
