A great opportunity has come up for a niche womenswear brand who focus onstreet / grunge inspired clothing and sell both Wholesale and online.
The role in question is as a senior level that will work with three other designers (one shape and one graphic). You will be self-sufficient and hybrid 3 days from home and 2 from the office based near Ilford on a sporadic weekly basis. Travel will be needed as and when and that no doubt will be both to China and the states. They are hiring due to a recent senior relocating. Their price point is high street.
MUST HAVES TO BE SUITABLE
A recent grounding working in fast fashion womenswear (brand or supplier).
A recent track record of designing multi product – including graphics and prints.
A passion for the street grunge type of look (All saints passe)
A great understanding of current high street trends
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Design using Illustrator / cad.
Flexible in terms of the organic growth of a brand (in today’s fashion world you can’t be over structured)
Commutable to East London at least two days a week and eligible to work in the UK for 5 or more years.
