The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Loss Prevention Manager and Retail Director – AU, the Stock Controller – AU will work alongside existing Stock Controller – AU and assist to provide the AU Retail teams with the tools, processes and support required to effectively manage loss prevention and inventory throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate fortnightly Mini Stocktakes and Bi-Annual Stocktakes across retail stores and warehouses within the business.
- Monitor goods in transit, stock on hand, organisation, and capacity to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment with business standards.
- Mitigate shrinkage due to faulty stock by conducting regular audits across operational warehouses.
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or suspicious activity, and produce detailed, conclusive reports.
- Ensure security equipment is operational and well maintained by liaising with third-party vendors.
- Monitor access and activity reports to maintain safe and secure store and warehouse environments.
- Facilitate the overall achievement of inventory KPIs across the store and warehouse network by conducting regular audits and providing consistent feedback to leadership teams.

- Demonstrated experience in stock management or loss prevention.
- A meticulous attention to detail, producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- A proactive work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
