We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and completed their schooling/licensed in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair styling services to our diverse clientele. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering up on trend hair care services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment to adhere to health and safety standards.
Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions using salon software.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, color theory, is preferred.
Experience with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality services.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
Working as a team player and continuing education to grow is such a plus!
