Job DescriptionAbout the Role
As an Area Visual Manager in the Visual function, you contribute to an inspiring, commercial, & consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards & commercial excellence. Together with the Area and store teams you secure a strong implementation of the Store Activation Plan and follow-up the Visual & Commercial Goals. You lead, coach & develop strong visual merchandising teams through upskilling and secure a sustainable visual merchandising talent pipeline within the Area.
This hybrid/field role reports into theArea Managerand is based out ofDenver, CO.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*
Drive implementation of the Sales market visual and commercial goals together with Area, and store teams
Set a clear plan to deliver on inspiring and commercial customer experience through product prioritization, commerciality, presentation, styling, and window including in-store communication through global commercial guidelines
Follow up on commercial priorities together with the rest of the Area team to secure visual and commercial standards within the stores
Ensure that you and your store teams are up-to-date and understand current fashion trends, visual guidelines, styling techniques and competitor landscape so you can anticipate your customer needs
Execute and follow-up implementation of the visual commercial guidelines, Sales market seasonal focuses and commercial priorities through regular coaching store visits and feedback to secure visual consistency
Take a holistic grip on learning & development coach and inspire store teams in visual and commercial knowledge, including customer experience strategies and fashion expertise to improve visual and commercial consistency in the Area
Create a sustainable talent pipeline with the right competencies within the visual merchandising team promoting diversity
Collaborate with HR team to identify, develop and recruit talents to build (future) organization for Visual & Commercial Leaders and contribute towards forecast needs
Required domestic and international travel up to 60% of the time
Qualifications
Who You Are:
2-4 years of past retail visual merchandising experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities
Fashion School Degree or similar experience within the Fashion industry preferred
Solution orientated and flexibility to find the best solution in line with our values
Familiarity with recent technologies and tools introduce to physical stores
Strong visual merchandising skills and ability to drive business through creativity and commerciality
Strong commitment and experience with providing a high level of customer service
Ability to coach and counsel staff and performance management and progressive discipline techniques
Proficient at Microsoft Office
