Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, highly organized Assistant Fashion Designer to join the team,

working closely with our Product team on the development of core categories including

underwear, sleepwear/PJs, loungewear, and activewear. This role will report directly to the Sr.

Designer / Product Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

● Support the design of seasonal collections across underwear, PJs, loungewear, and activewear.

● Assist in developing mood boards, color palettes, print directions, and design concepts

aligned with the Woxer aesthetic.

● Conduct trend and market research and translate insights into relevant, wearable design

suggestions.

Print & Color Development

● Own and manage the complete print and lab dip (L/D) chart across all product categories, ensuring accurate tracking from concept through production approval.

● Develop creative and on-brand colorway names that align with seasonal themes and collection narratives.

● Collaborate on color and print concepts for seasonal collections, translating inspiration and market trends into commercially viable designs.

● Identify and specify accurate Pantone references for all colors, prints, and trims, maintaining consistency across the product line.

● Adjust and refine print artwork files to meet technical production requirements, including colorway variations, scale adjustments, and placement specifications.

● Manage lab dip submission and approval process, tracking all colorways through testing, revisions, and final sign-off.

Technical Documentation & Product Development

● Create and maintain detailed CAD flats with accurate colorways, prints, and construction

details for all styles.

● Build and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each product, ensuring all components (fabrics, trims, labels, elastics, threads) are accurately documented and color-matched.

● Review line sheets proactively to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or upcoming deliverables, taking ownership of next steps without prompting.

● Understand garment construction methods and identify which elements require color matching (thread, elastic, binding, labels, snaps, etc.) to maintain quality standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Partner with design and product development teams to ensure the technical feasibility of

print and color concepts.

● Support quality control efforts by understanding how color and print impact final product

appearance and performance.

● Partner with Product, Production, and Brand teams to ensure consistency from concept through launch.

● Support product launches with Figma line sheets, product details, and design documentation.

● Follow seasonal calendars, development milestones, and internal coordination.

Organization & Process Management

● Maintain organized digital files for all artwork, CADs, BOMs, and approval documentation.

● Proactively flag potential issues related to color availability, lead times, or technical constraints.

● Stay informed on fabric and trim capabilities, dye processes, and print methods to

inform better design decisions.

● Continuously improve internal processes for print and color management to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Skills & Mindset

● Demonstrate strong attention to detail and color accuracy

● Take initiative to identify what needs to be done based on line sheet review and production timelines.

● Understand the full product lifecycle from concept to finished goods

● Communicate technical information clearly to both creative and production teams

● Balance creative vision with technical and commercial constraints.

Qualifications

● 2+ years of experience in women’s apparel design (intimates, underwear, or activewear preferred).

● Strong understanding of fit, garment construction, and fabric performance.

● Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop as well as other standard design tools.

● Experience creating print artwork and repeats is a must.

● Experience creating and understanding production-ready tech packs.

● Quick and timely execution to support assortment changes and new color or print additions.

● Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive mindset.
