About Us
We are a fast-growing fashion media brand with over 1.3 million followers who depend on us daily for outfit inspiration, street style trends, and elevated fashion curation. We treat our daily content like episodes of a show. We are looking for an organized, highly creative Assistant Video Editor & Content Curator to join our team, and help us scale our daily output. You will work directly under our Content Lead to bring our creative visions to life.
What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day)
- Asset Sifting & Curation: Review our content bank of raw photos and videos captured across the major cities we shoot in.
- Batching & Theming: Group raw assets into curated batches of 8 to 12 clips/photos based on specific style trends, locations, or seasonal aesthetics.
- Short-Form Editing: Edit high-energy, high-aesthetic 20-second videos optimized for social media platforms and our website.
- Replicate Our Signature Style: Learn and execute our brand's unique editing style—including our specific pacing, signature chops, transitions, and audio cues that make our content instantly recognizable.
- Cross-Channel Prep: Format and package content seamlessly to be pushed across all social channels and our web platform.
Who You Are
- Obsessed with Fashion Culture: You live on the fashion side of social media. You know the difference between an "elevated look," "street style," and a "high-low mix."
- A Master of the Scroll-Stopper: You understand the psychology of the first 3 seconds of a video and know how to hook an audience of millions.
- Highly Organized: You love clean folders, asset management, and turning chaotic piles of raw footage into beautifully structured content banks.
- Proficient Editor: You have experience with editing software (CapCut) and can adapt quickly to a brand's established visual identity.
Schedule Requirements
- This role requires you to be in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays for our high-collaboration curation and editing sprint days.
To Apply
- Please submit your resume, your portfolio/Instagram/Pinterest, and a brief note on what fashion trend you are currently obsessed with.
