Position Overview
Republic Clothing Group is seeking a full-time Associate Designer for the Elie Tahari brand. This role will work closely with the Creative Director as well as the Woven and Sweater Design teams to support the development of seasonal collections from concept through execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, creative work environment and be highly adaptable to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on fashion trends, including styles, colors, fabrics, and patterns
- Create sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator
- Develop and maintain detailed technical packages
- Assist with steaming and showroom setup during market weeks
- Provide on-site support for lookbook photoshoots
- Assist in creating and distributing fabric and style development packages, color cards, and trim sheets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to efficiently balance both administrative and creative tasks
- 5–7 years of relevant fashion design experience
- Strong graphic design skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
