Tharanco Group is seeking a Full-Time Associate Technical Designer to work directly with our Greg Norman Collection and Dunning Brands. This position will be based out of our New York office with Remote Fridays!
Tharanco Group designs, sources, and sells Men’s (Golf Apparel, Dress Shirts, Active/Outdoor Apparel) and Women’s (Dresses, Sweater & Knit Tops) apparel to major retailers and boutiques/pro-shops in the US and through its own Direct to Consumer channels (Ecommerce & Retail Stores). Tharanco Group Inc. has been in the Apparel Business since 1988 and has several operating divisions with offices in NYC, Secaucus NJ, and Canton MA, and 19 Retail Stores .

Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of garment construction; background pattern making is preferred; proven expertise in apparel draping and fitting.
- Working knowledge of PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with critical attention to details
- Confident, engaging verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated to work in a high-energy environment at the speed of fashion with ever-changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments as well as vendors and other overseas offices.
- Preferred: Experience with 3D fitting using Browzwear.
Education and Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of Technical Design and/or Patternmaking experience
- Fitting on a LIVE FIT MODEL. Required
- Experience in men’s sportswear and woven shirt (Knit and Woven) Required
- A college degree, or equivalent professional work experience, is required.
Pay: $68,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
