We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will utilize your expertise in hair styling, color theory, and customer service to create personalized experiences that cater to each client’s unique needs.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend appropriate services.
Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques to offer innovative styles.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Promote retail products and upsell services to enhance the client experience.
Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
Offer eyelash extension services if qualified, expanding your service offerings.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of color theory and hair styling techniques.
Experience with retail sales and an understanding of retail math for effective upselling.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards client interactions.
