Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer Home Products, based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Buyer will oversee the sourcing and procurement of home products, ensuring that the product assortment aligns with consumer demands and market trends. They will negotiate with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, monitor inventory levels, conduct market analysis, and collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to drive sales. The Buyer is also expected to maintain quality standards while achieving cost efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, and category management
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the home products sector
- Analytical skills and familiarity with data interpretation and forecasting tools
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and modern procurement systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment is a strong advantage
