We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Chain-Store Female Clothing Designer to join our fast-paced fashion retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating trendy, stylish, and market-ready clothing designs tailored specifically for our female clientele across multiple store locations. Your creative vision, combined with technical expertise, will help shape our brand’s identity and drive customer engagement. Responsibilities
- Develop original clothing concepts and designs that align with current fashion trends and brand identity, focusing on female apparel for chain stores.
- Create detailed sketches and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to communicate design ideas clearly to production teams.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to develop precise patterns and prototypes for new collections.
- Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept through sample development, fittings, revisions, and final production.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising teams to ensure designs meet market demands, seasonal themes, and retail strategies.
- Oversee garment construction processes, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout production.
- Stay updated on fashion retail trends, color theory, and styling techniques to keep collections fresh and relevant.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for designing and presentation purposes.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software for pattern making and technical design.
- Experience with product lifecycle management from concept to production.
- Solid understanding of fashion design principles, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
- Ability to interpret fashion retail trends into commercially viable designs.
- Excellent illustration skills with a good grasp of color theory and fashion styling.
- Familiarity with sewing machines, garment fitting, and sewing techniques to ensure quality craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies to optimize product appeal in-store.
- Strong graphic design skills for creating compelling visual presentations.
