Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in various hair cutting styles, grooming services, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Our shop is appointment based, walk-ins are welcome (if available) and it tends to stay steadily busy.
Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using straight razors and clippers.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering professional advice on styles and products.
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and maintaining barbershop software for client records.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in barbering is preferred.
Familiarity with barber software for appointment management is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A valid barbering license or certification is required.

75% of sales if working 5+ days per week
70% of sales if working 4 days per week
60% of sales if working 3 days or less per week
Commission is paid every Friday via Zelle
Some of our barbers are making over $60k per year + tips.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
