The collection’s modern feminine aesthetic embraces unexpected details and striking silhouettes, resulting in clothing that draw their romance and sexiness from the woman wearing them.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our team focusing on our Tous Les Jours line. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that our creative visions translate seamlessly into high-quality, well-fitting garments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with the design team to understand creative concepts
- Develop and create accurate technical packages, including specifications and garment construction details
- Conduct fittings and collaborate with design and oversea factories to ensure garments meet design aesthetic, fit, and spec requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design and fit issues to ensure feasibility
- Provide technical expertise during the design pass off, advising on construction techniques, fabrications, and finishing details
- Fit, evaluate, and approve proto samples, ensuring they align with design intent and quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing processes to continually enhance product quality and efficiency
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, or a related field
- 6-7 years experience in technical design field
- Proficient in excel and illustrator
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and draping
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of denim, suiting, bottoms, cut and sew is a plus
