About BulBul

BulBul is a mass-premium Indian ethnic wear brand with 10+ years of in-house manufacturing. We design, produce, and sell salwar suits, kurta sets, co-ord sets, and fusion wear across Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, Amazon India, Flipkart, and our own D2C Shopify store. We're scaling fast and need someone who can keep our catalog airtight across every channel.

The Role

We're hiring a dedicated Cataloging Executive — someone whose core skill is getting products listed correctly, quickly, and at a quality level that actually ranks on marketplace search. You've done this before. You know the pain of Myntra's style-level rejections, Amazon's flat file templates, AJIO's brand approval flows, Nykaa's content guidelines, and Flipkart's listing quirks. You don't need to be taught what a parent-child listing is or why image backgrounds matter.

This is a specialist role. You own the catalog. If a listing is wrong, slow, or rejected — it's on you. If it's live, optimized, and converting — that's also on you.

Roles & Responsibilities

Multi-Platform Cataloging

  • Create and upload product listings across Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Shopify — from scratch, not by copying old ones blindly
  • Handle platform-specific listing formats: Myntra's style creation flow, Amazon's flat files and Browse Tree Guides, AJIO's bulk upload sheets, Flipkart's seller hub templates, Nykaa's catalog forms
  • Map products to the correct categories, sub-categories, and attribute fields on each platform — wrong mapping = buried listing, and you know this
  • Manage size charts, fabric details, wash care instructions, and occasion/season/color tagging with zero errors

Product Content Creation

  • Write platform-optimized product titles — keyword-rich, within character limits, and formatted per each marketplace's ranking logic
  • Create product descriptions and bullet points that are specific to the garment — not generic "beautiful ethnic wear for every occasion" filler
  • Ensure backend search terms, tags, and attributes are filled completely — every empty field is lost discoverability

Image Management

  • Prepare and upload images per each platform's specs — resolution, dimensions, background color, model shot requirements, lifestyle image ratios
  • Coordinate with the photography team to flag missing angles, incorrect crops, or spec violations before upload — not after rejection
  • Maintain a structured image library organized by SKU, platform, and upload status

Quality Control & Error Resolution

  • Audit live listings weekly for errors: wrong pricing, incorrect images, missing attributes, broken size charts, inactive SKUs showing in stock
  • Resolve QC rejections and content flags from marketplace teams within 24 hours — no backlog pile-up
  • Run pre-launch QC checks on every batch before going live: cross-verify pricing sheet vs. listed MRP, image mapping vs. SKU, inventory count vs. uploaded quantity

Catalog Hygiene & Master Data

  • Maintain and update the master catalog sheet (Excel/Google Sheets) — single source of truth for all SKUs across all platforms
  • Track listing status per SKU per platform: live, pending approval, rejected, suppressed, out of stock, delisted
  • Ensure SKU codes, HSN codes, and barcodes are consistent and accurate across all channels
  • Execute bulk updates during price revisions, sale events, and seasonal transitions without errors

Sale Event Readiness

  • Prepare catalog for major sale events: Myntra EORS, Big Billion Days, Amazon Great Indian Festival, Nykaa sale, AJIO ASOS — bulk price updates, offer tagging, badge activation, inventory flagging
  • Ensure all nominated SKUs are live, correctly priced, and image-approved at least 48 hours before sale goes live
  • Post-sale cleanup: revert prices, update stock, delist expired promotions

Reporting & Coordination

  • Report daily upload numbers: SKUs listed, pending, rejected, and reasons for rejection
  • Coordinate with the inventory/warehouse team on stock availability before listing new products
  • Flag category or policy changes on any platform that affect listing requirements

You Must Have

  • 1–2 years of hands-on cataloging experience in fashion/apparel e-commerce — not electronics, not FMCG, not general merchandise
  • Direct working experience on at least 3 of these: Myntra Partner Panel, AJIO Seller Hub, Nykaa Fashion Seller Portal, Amazon Seller Central (flat files), Flipkart Seller Hub
  • Ability to handle 50+ SKU uploads per week across multiple platforms without error accumulation
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills — VLOOKUP, data validation, bulk formatting, pivot tables
  • Sharp eye for detail — you catch a wrong MRP, a mismatched image, or a missing attribute before it goes live, not after a customer complaint
  • Good written English — product copy quality matters, not just filling fields

Non-Negotiable

  • You must have cataloged fashion/apparel products specifically — if your experience is in mobile accessories or home decor, this isn't the right fit
  • You must be comfortable working on-site in Ahmedabad — no remote, no hybrid
  • You must be able to show past work — sample listings, catalog sheets, or platform screenshots during the interview

Good to Have

  • Experience with Shopify product uploads and collection management
  • Basic Photoshop/Canva skills for image resizing and background correction
  • Exposure to marketplace SEO — understanding of how title keywords and attributes affect search ranking
  • Experience handling catalog during large-scale sale events

  • Not a data analyst role — you'll maintain trackers, not build dashboards
  • Not a slow-paced role — we launch new styles regularly, and the catalog needs to keep up
