The Events Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the company brand image while enhancing customer brand awareness and experience through the organization of events and in-store activations.

Main Responsibilities

•Organize and execute all retail events, venue sourcing and contracting, catering sponsorships and contracting, entertainment, sourcing decor components, model casting and all logistical coordination

•Collaborate strongly with marketing and communications teams, along with Alta Moda, Commercial Sales, Retail and Visual Merchandising Departments to execute cohesive events in the US and Canada markets

•Generate event proposals with creative concept, production, catering, entertainment and installation proposals

•Create and manage event budgets with vendor proposals, for events that range from 40 to 500 guests

•Scout artists to perform during the events (i.e. musicians, fashion illustrators, street artists)

•Work with local production companies in creating and installing the event décor elements, and installations

•Cast models and model wait staff for events, and arrange for event grooming

•Source and coordinate for invite calligraphy, embroidery and other aesthetic components needed for all events

•Coordinate all day-of logistics including rental deliveries, sound and visual system setup, catering setup, and grooming

•Assure that all events and event components are aligned with brand image and identity

•Create and manage event Time & Action calendars, and see through all event deadlines; oversee the competitor event research projects

•Creating seasonal media plan to support local markets, managing local media budgets and sourcing proposals to utilize merchandising credits

•Partner with key charities in local markets relating to events or gold clients

•Create, distribute and manage digital invitation strategy for all Retail and Wholesale events

•Collaborate with Simon’s Mall Managment to create and post marketing promotions for all outlet stores

•Compliation of all event recaps containing quantative and qualitative feedback for all events

Requirements

•5+ years of relevant experience

•Working knowdlege of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign

•Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

•Preferred knowledge of vendors in each market

•Understanding of market knowledge to help with key events

•Experience with negotiation and negotiating contracts

•Event Planning experience in a Luxury Retail environment

The salary range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000 annually. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to take part in our comprehensive benefits program which includes: medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, 401(k) plan, FSA plans, and more. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
