Job Description
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) – In-person
Pay: $50.00 – $150.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Job Type: Part-time / Independent Contractor (1099)
Frequency: 1–2 sessions per month (1–2 hours per session)
IMPORTANT: TECHNICAL ROLE – PLEASE READ
This is a Technical Product Development position, NOT print, runway, or promotional modeling. We are looking for professional fit models who can provide detailed, articulate feedback on garment construction, compression levels, and comfort during the design process.
CURRENT HIRING PRIORITY: We are actively seeking candidates for our Size M, XL, and 3XL samples. We will also consider Size L and 2XL candidates for upcoming development.
- Note to Size S Models: While we are not currently fitting Size S samples, we invite highly experienced technical fit models (with extensive shapewear/intimate brand history) to apply. Your information will be kept in our priority talent roster for future development cycles.
MEASUREMENT REQUIREMENTS (STRICT)
Selection is based on actual body measurements, not clothing size labels.
- The Bust measurement must fall strictly within the range. * Only ONE other measurement (waist or hip) may slightly exceed the primary range.
Size M
- Bust: 36.2 – 38.6 in (Strict)
- Waist: 28.3 – 31.9 in
- Hip: 38.6 – 42.1 in
Size XL
- Bust: 40.9 – 43.3 in (Strict)
- Waist: 33.1 – 38.2 in
- Hip: 43.3 – 46.9 in
Size 3XL (Plus)
- Bust: 45.7 – 48.0 in (Strict)
- Waist: 40.2 – 47.4 in
- Hip: 48.0 – 51.6 in
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Fit Experience: Must have participated in structured fitting sessions with technical designers (reviewing POMs, spec sheets, etc.).
- Garment Feedback: Ability to articulate why a garment feels tight, loose, or restrictive (e.g., "the waistband tension is too high," "the leg opening is rolling").
- Product Knowledge: Previous experience with shapewear, compression garments, or intimate apparel is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and available for in-person sessions in DTLA.
